why does my PVR say ofln after 5 resets

It would be helpful if Shaw could give us an idea as to when customers will be online again with their PVR boxes. The ability to find out anything is like the gnashing of teeth. The information you give to your customers is not great; maybe you should inform your twitter person that you are having equipment issues and when we might get back online.
We'd most gladly share more information with you if we had it. It's unfortunately part of the nature of technical issues such as these that a timeline isn't necessarily evident.
The system looks like it's online again. I rebooted my PSVR and after waiting a few minutes, the machine is working again! No more OFLn!

I just tried clicking on that link and I got a message saying "Unauthorized".
Sorry about that rgsteele! It looks like that particular service alert was archived already. The issue has been resolved though!
It would be nice if, rather than "archiving" these service messages, you could just update them to indicate the issue was resolved. Showing a message saying "unauthorized" isn't very user friendly.
On that note, is there somewhere we can see a list of all past service issues? Something like Google's App Status Dashboard, for example: http://www.google.com/appsstatus
Thanks for the feedback. What usually happens is that when an issue is resolved, we leave the service update up for a few hours and have it marked as resolved for when customers check back on it.

This situation is a bit unique, as during this outage the forums were quite hectic and we actually had a duplicate alert up for the issue. The duplicate alert got archived, as it wasn't needed. This ended up in a bit of confusion for anyone who clicked on the link for that duplicate service update, and we apologize for that.
In terms of having a list of all past service issues, unfortunately that's not something that is available at this time.

We can help with this further, what message are you seeing on the front panel of your HD box?
I believe they have archived that service alert - as the issue was resolved.

How did you reboot it? I've tried unplugging my unit and plugging it back in but it didn't work?
