Does anyone know how long the current issue might be a problem? Should TV and box be left on or powered off and just checked to see if problem is solved?

Not sure if I'm using this correctly but wondering if anyone has current info about how long before the problem with rebooting will be....I noticed alot of other people having the same problem....server connectivity error and unable to reboot.  The reason I tried rebooting initially was because the system had slowed down and would not respond to the remote for several seconds.  Last couple of days it seemed to be doing strange can't watch TV at all.
