why and heck does digital box not connect, keeps say no signal yet 3 other TV's and digital boxes do what is the problem
If you are getting the message No Signal on the TV screen, it is normally caused by just a few things. First off, make sure the digital box is on.
Next, check to insure the TV is on the correct Input. If your Shaw remote is programmed for your TV, then press the TV button at the top. Then press the Video Source button in the very bottom left hand corner of the remote. This should bring up a list of available inputs on your TV screen. Select the input that the digital box is connected to. If you are not sure, you can try each one until you receive picture. Once you have picture, remember to press the CBL button before trying to change channels.
If your Shaw remote is not programmed for your TV, then you can follow the same steps above but use your TV remote. The button should be labeled Video Source or Input.
The last thing to check, which is the least common, is double check that all the connections on the back of the digital box and TV are secure. It is best to unplug them and plug them back in to be sure.
