How do I get rid of the password in an account, if there are multiple accounts? I have two accounts, I think you call them, and one of them I don't want the passwords anymore, I want them to be open wifi.
It is best to leave a password for your wireless connection to prevent others from abusing your Internet. If you are using the Shaw wireless modem for your wireless connection, you can find the password for your wireless connection on a sticker on the side of your Shaw modem. The password may be referred to as the: Passphrase, S/N, Pre-Shared Key or Password (note: the password is case-sensitive, so please enter the password as it is printed exactly on the sticker, including upper-case letters)
If you wish to change this password to something else, you can find directions on how to do this here How to Change Your Wireless Network Password
Which account passwords are you referring to exactly? Is this for Shaw email addresses or something else? If you could provide a little more detail we would be able to help you out.
Most Shaw services that you can set up a password do end up requiring one, email, online account, community account, wireless modem etc.
I'm referring to the wifi on our internet. It seems that a password has been added to this account which I want to remove.
It is defaulted with a password for good reason, but you can disable it, if you want to
