I turned on my PVR and it will not change off of channel 0. What is the problem? How can I fix it? I have unplugged it but it was the same when it powered on.

It sounds like it may have lost signal. I would suggest removing the cable cord and reconnecting it on both ends if possible then disconnect the power again for a few seconds. If this doesn't do the trick please let us know and we will send you a direct message to take a closer look.
I have the same Motorolla PVR and I'm having the same problem. I disconnected every cable from the box, and even dusted it off outside, then finally plugged everything back in... and it still is stuck on Channel 0 with a black screen. I should mention that over the last week before it got stuck on channel 0, the PVR would freeze, then re-set itself, then go back to normal. Sometimes, it did this a few times per day. Does that mean that the box is dead or does it just keep losing its signal? How can I solve this problem without needing to buy a new PVR?Thanks!
