My internet keeps disconnecting throughout the day, all the lights on the modem turn off except the one on the far left and then it reboots itself after everything has been disconnected. What is going on? Really need this fixed
If your modem is cycling through the lights in this way, it sounds like it is having an issue keeping hold of a stable signal.
As per our guide at Unable to Connect to the Internet, we first need to make sure that the coaxial cable is secure on both ends. Unscrew the cable from the back of the modem and screw it back on. Then do the same where the cable goes into the wall outlet. If the cable also goes through a splitter, do the same on both ends of the splitter.
I would also recommend pulling the power cord to the modem for 10 seconds, as well as making sure that the power cord is tight on the wall socket.
If your modem still cycles through its lights after that, please get back to us and we can take a closer look at it for you.
We reset the box last night. When we are connected, the internet is so slow, I cant stream anything and it is also taking so long for just a webpage to open. Is there anyway to get it back to the way it was at the start
It sounds like there may be a signal challenge to the modem persisting. I can check this more closely by sending you a direct message for some additional information, please check your Community Inbox at the top of the site.
