Why can't I access MYACCOUNT on safari?Mac ox x version 10.6.8...It is accessible on Firefox
Apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. Are you seeing any error messages when trying to access our site? Can you let us know what version of Safari you are using (this would be found under Safari > About Safari) and what version of OS X you are using (top left corner of your computer, click on the Apple logo > About This Mac). Are you able to access our site through a different browser (popular alternate browsers include Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.)
I still can't access. Safari version 6.2.8 and Mac OS X version 10.8.5.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you able to do any updates to the software versions? You can try to see if you are able to access it via other browsers such a Mozilla or Chrome to see if the same issues occurs.

I can access it with Safari 8.0.2 OS 10.10.1.
Yes, it seems to be affecting older browser versions of Safari it appears: Safari 5
An alternate web browser would be a workaround, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as shaw-ken suggested.
Service alert here with more information: Safari cannot establish a secure connection to signon.shaw.ca or myaccount.shaw.ca
It is also affecting Safari 6 (part of OS 10.7.5 or Lion). No matter from which point I try to access My Account - from the main Shaw.ca site then clicking My Account; from secure.shaw.ca typed in the address bar; or from my bookmark whose address also is secure.shaw.ca - I get the following error message:
Safari can't open the page "https://signon.shaw.ca/occ_from_email.php?goto=https%3A%2F%2Fmyaccount.shaw.ca%2FHome" because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "sign on.shaw.ca"
In other words, Safari 6 is always doing a quick redirect to that odd address that includes 'occ_from_email.php'. Am wondering if that redirect is the problem, but try as I might I can't get rid of the thing. It seems to be a problem exclusively related to Shaw. I've no difficulty accessing other secure sites. I have cleared the cache and done a full reset of Safari and still no luck.
We'll reply to you in the thread that you created: Why can't I access MY ACCOUNT from Safari 6.x?
This issue should now be resolved, please test it out and let us know if you have any further issues!
