Ok, here is my problem and it has been happening for a long time now and I'm getting tired of it.

My PC every hour will lose its connection to the internet for a second or two. Everything gets disconnected.

In my Event Log I get...

EVENT 1003 DCHP-CLIENT "Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x74D4359F1398.  The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server."

As you can see its happening every 60 minutes (as set in my modem) but why is this always happening. It only does this on SHAW, doesnt happen on any other ISP ive used. If I am watching a stream, playing a game or anything online.

Ive called Shaw and the CSR I spoke to had ZERO idea what I was even talking about and even told me they dont deal with those problems....Its your hardware! Is there anyways I can talk to a REAL server tech to be able to figure out why this is always happening.

Thanks,

Outcomes
