If you have a Arris SBG6782 Advanced WiFi Modem, and are trying to use WPS with a PIN, you'll first need to sign in to your modem settings (please click this link for instructions). Due to WPS being an insecure feature of routers, all SHAW routers have WPS disabled. So, in fact, you will have to log into the router and enable WPS first. Most routers actually show the pin or serial to use after that, but in some you can also choose your own. It's supposed to be the same as the router wifi password usually by default.
