Just wondering how much Shaw charges you per gigabyte if you go over your data cap?
Our house plays a lot of online games and we are getting close to the limit.
At the moment we do not charge per GB if you go over your monthly limit. However, if you go over the limit on a consistent basis, what will most likely happen is we will contact you directly to discuss your usage, and let you know what your options are if you want to upgrade to a plan better suited for your needs.
I have been searching the forums looking for this information.
I just got netflix 2 days a go, and just checked my data usage. It's extremely high! I've never used much data at all, never even close to my 150 that comes with my internet...was using maybe 35 at the highest end ever.
Im at 95 as of this a.m. After a weekend of watching Netflix. I've read here repeatedly that if you go over you're not charged if you go over?
I am considering canceling my movie central, and super channel, including Shomi, since I've pretty much watched every movie, at least every one I'm interested in.
if I cancel those I could put the money towards a higher interest data plan if needed. But if I'm not going to be charged for extra date then should I just wait until I hear from Shaw and have them advise me of my usage? Or go ahead and get a higher data plan now?
I've responded in your post over here Internet best plan for high data usage? Help!
