Out of the blue, I just re-received all of my emails (including ones I've deleted) that I've gotten for the past 2 weeks. Nothing before that. What on earth happened?
It sounds like your mail client and the server had a misunderstanding. Usually if you leave messages on the mail server your mail client is able to track what is has/hasn't downloaded. Basically your mail client thought it hadn't got this mail yet (this could be a client or server error) and re-downloaded the mail.
If you check your mail on multiple computers/devices it could complicate finding out what may have cause this.
How many devices do you check your Shaw email account on?
Every so often, I get this as well, definately happening less frequently now...
I actually thought it was related to the Webmail 2.0 beta.
The headers on the server changed, from what I looked at.
