Autoreply - no alert in Subject

I set an autoreply message on one of my email accounts and the Subject line comes back to the sender simply re: <whatever> like a normal reply. It should say "Autoreply <whatever>", that is the standard formula. Any chance of getting this fixed? The form in Customer Care gives the option create a subject line but it never shows up.
