For a bit longer than a week I've been having issues with streaming connections (youtube, video feeds, and some downloads) stalling. In order to watch a youtube video I have to refresh the page 3 or 4 times for it to fully buffer. Usually I have to do the same with downloads. I have 3 computers hardwired to the modem, and they are all exhibiting the same behavior. I've tried resetting the modem, and I moved it so it's connected directly to the junction box. No change at all.
I am on Broadband 50 and when I run a Shaw speed test, it's always less than 10mbps. Usually I get somewhere around 1 or 2mpbs, and sometimes it's up to 7 or 8.
I attend university classes remotely from home and am unable to sustain a live feed for more than a couple minutes without my connection dropping. It sounds like a few other people in the area are experiencing the same issues.
Help would be appreciated, or at least an acknowledgement that the issue is known and being worked on.
