just recently activated pvr, missing channels in the 200 to 300
If this is one of the new HD Guide Shaw PVR's, your HD channels will appear that they are missing in the 200's, but they aren't.
We always deliver HD now when it is available. You will notice on the lower channels that the "HD" icon appears next to the channel number, meaning it is broadcasting in HD. It may take a little adjusting to get use to the new channel numbers. In Settings you will also find "HD Grouping" which allows you to see all of your HD channels at the start of the Guide followed by the SD channels. Hope this helps!
Sorry you're having trouble with some of your channels. Can you try the steps listed here? One Moment Please Error (Ref Code: s0a00)
The message you see may be different, but the steps are still relevant. If they're still not working though, can you reply and let us know what you're seeing on the screen when you try to access these channels?
If it is one of our new 3510 PVRs that is because of the HD Overlay feature. HD feeds now overlay the SD channel numbers so you always get the best possible picture and dont have to go all the way to the 200s to find HD.
You can find some more info on this feature here:High Definition Guide - HD Organization and Overlay
I like going to the 200s... I only watch HD stations, I haven't watched SD TV stations in a very long time
I had the same reaction until I realized how much cool content I was missing out on by never going below 200. Now I need an expander for my Gateway thanks to all the new recordings.
