Is there a feature available for residential service that will forward an incoming if the line is busy or after so many rings (no answer). I had a similar service in the states with Verizon and had these forwarded to my cell phone
Apart from Voicemail (this is how voicemail works), no, you won't get this feature.
I have found all of the 'traditonal' phone providers are like this.
It is included with business lines, on all providers, depending on which phone plan you have from Shaw, it may not be that much more than the residental service.
As Kevin so rightfully pointed out, this isn't a feature found in residential phone accounts.
The closest we have to this feature is in our business package: Multi-Line Hunting. If someone phones the main number but no one answers or it is busy, the call transfers to the next number on that account.

On my business line, *90 was Call-Forward Busy, *91 Was to disable
It has to be enabled seperately than normal, and when it is enabled, you have to setup the call-forward busy and no-answer to go to the voicemail number, if you want Shaw's voicemail.
I don't remember the no-answer code right now.
shaw-lance Can you confirm if this feature has been removed now? It was an option in the provioning system to enable for a customer. But I used to do this exact thing Call-Forward No-Answer to my cell phone, and Busy went to voicemail.

Call Forward No answer and Call Forward busy are available through Business and are the best option when one or two lines are involved.
Multi-Line hunting is, generally speaking, the more appropriate choice when more then two lines exist.
Both of the above services are included features of most business phone packages and are not billed as add-ons.

Call-Forward-No-Answer is *92 to activate *93 to deactivate
