Trying to watch a 3D movie just hooked up Gateway. Wants me to change to "Native", where do I find that?
On Gateway you don't have to switch to native. So long as you have 1080p enabled in Settings >TV Set Up you'll be good to go.
Hello, can you clarify that you have shaw gateway. The reason is there is no native mode, so not sure what you are trying to change. On the dcx 3400 however, there is a native mode that can be set.
Once we have the clarification we can give direction.
Hey! Trying to watch a 3d movie...World War Z. It's showing double picture. Kindda freaks me out? Is it because of this native thing? Help please...before my 24 hour rental is up!!
Do you have the Gateway or one of our HD boxes? This might also be in your TV itself. It's possible that the 3D settings need to be enabled or adjusted. Which brand of TV do you have?
to watch a 3d movie, you must have a 3d tv. what you are seeing is a "side by side" 3d image, and when your tv Goes into 3d mode, it will overlay the left and right which will yield a slight offset for the 3d effect.
hope that explains things. Just turn your 3d enabled tv to 3d mode.
