I am able to receive email but not to send any email. Something is wrong with my outgoing settings. How do I fix this?
If you take your netbook and travel, you will want to change to security, password authentication, port 587
otherwise, try shawmail.cg.shawcable.net for the outgoing server instead
I think you are correct, something is wrong with your outgoing settings...
What are your current outgoing settings? What kind of device is it? Computer? Phone? Tablet? Which operating system? Which mail application?
I am using an Acer netbook computer - Windows 7 - Eudora OSE. My settings are as follows:
Outgoing Server SMTP name: mail.shaw.ca
No connection security
