If you have tried rebooting it manually already - I'll send you a direct message to investigate further from here.

Last night I noticed my cable wouldn't work and the brand new Shaw issued cable box read "No IP". After rebooting it it stopped at No IP and stayed there, so I unplugged it and waited plugged it back in and it did the same thing.
I rebooted the modem then to. That didn't help anything at all. In fact now my Internet keeps reconnecting and scanning. ..I'm having to use LTE on my cell phone to do this. I'm not happy about this! Please help me.
Oh 1 more thing, upon trying to connect with my laptop i can not get to any sites, they were all "Potentially risky" I have McAfee on all my devices, could this still be a virus!? Could a virus on one of our (personal) computers get into the cable? Seems highly unlikely.
Thanks for any help in advance. ...

Hello firstname.lastname@example.org, sorry to hear of the trouble you're having. As of right now, does your digital cable box still show the NoIP on the front? If so we can take care of that for you. As for your Internet, what lights do you currently see on the Shaw modem?
