I cannot send attachments in Shawmail. Please tell me how to correct this problem. Thank you.
Sorry to hear you're having problems sending attachments using Shaw Webmail. Can you tell me more about where you are experiencing the problem? When you create a new email and click Add Attachment, this should open an Add Attachments window. Clicking Browse here should allow you to find the file on your computer, and attach this to your email.
If all of this works, but sending the email once the attachment to your email is added is the problem, this could be due to the file size of your attachment. The attachements you send with your email should have a combined size of no more than 20MB, or you may experience problems sending the email.
First of all, I tried everything that was suggested such as creating a new email and adding a small size attachment and the problem still exist. Finally, I called Tech Support and they reset my Webmail with no success. I also reset my Internet Explorer. In the end, they recommended that I use Google Chrome and everything works. My conclusion, it could be a IE9 problem. Who knows.
I'm glad to hear that you have found a workaround (using Google Chrome) for this problem. Webmail 2.0 is compatible with Internet Explorer 9 and this is definitely not a general problem with Internet Explorer 9 and Webmail. If you would like to provide more information on where exactly the problem was occuring when you used Internet Explorer, we would be happy to test this further.
