I have Microsoft Office 2010 Outlook client on a PC running Windows 7. It is configured to download email from my Gmail Hotmail and Shaw accounts every five minutes. Since about 2011-12-30 it's been taking many hours for the Shaw mail to arrive, whereas the Gmail and Hotmail accounts are as quick as ever.
My wife has a laptop with the same OS, the same Outlook client, and the same antivirus program, and her Shaw email is working flawlessly. There have been no configuration changes on either PC for many months.
As a workaround, I can log into Shaw Webmail and read yesterdays' email that hasn't been delivered to my PC yet.
Does anybody know if there have been email server problems at Shaw? If I'm the only one then I'll try some reboots, resetting configurations, etc.
