I moved my Motorola box to a different TV and as soon as I plug it in I get an E11 error message.
Did you already try powercycling the box (disconnect power for a few seconds, then reconnect)? If so, your Motorola box may be experiencing signal problems since it has been moved to this new outlet.
Before you moved the box, did you have a TV connected directly to cable in this location? Because digital equipment can be a bit more sensitive to the signal it requires to work than using a TV alone will require, check for anything connected on the cable line between the cable outlet and the Motorola box that could be causing interference:cable splitters, power bars, etc., and remove these if possible.
If you've already checked and you're still seeing E11 on the display, please reply to let me know and I'll send you a direct message to run some additional signal tests on this.
Thank you for replying. I tried everything that you suggested and more - disconnecting the splitter, moving it back to the old location, etc, etc. Shaw sent a service person out and he spent over an hour and couldn't figure it out either. We ended up just getting a new one.
