Since January 2015, I have consistently experienced audio sync problems on Channel 227 (Vancouver area) CBC News Network HD broadcast of "The National". More often than not the audio and video are out of sync. Either can be ahead or behind by just enough to be bothersome to watch. Shaw technician has confirmed the problem by a home visit. I am using Shaw Gateway. The problem occurs even when the TV speakers are used rather than directing the audio through a sound bar or home theatre receiver.
There was some mention from Shaw Support that the problem might originate within CBC itself. I have contacted CBC but they just took my concern on notice and I have not heard back from CBC.
I am hopeful that others have noticed this problem and concerned enough to contact CBC and/or Shaw for a resolution.
