I have a ciso modem and my iPad has difficulty accessing wifi internet
what is the best setting for wireless mode B/G/N mixed or N
Hey jwoytack, what setting you use depends on what devices you think are going to be active on your network.
Setting the Cisco to N only will prevent any devices which aren't capable of wireless N from connecting entirely. I believe all iPads back to the iPad 1 are N, so that shouldn't be a concern and you'll want to use N because it's just way faster than B or G. If you have any G devices or expect any to be connected to your home network at any point, you might want to consider leaving it open for compatibility reasons (keeping in mind, that if any B/G devices are connected, ALL devices on the network will work at B/G speeds regardless of their capability).
As for the trouble you're having, are you able to get it connected at all? Is it dropping the connection frequently? You might want to take a quick look at the information here as well: Wireless Connectivity Troubleshooting.
