Currently watching the Masters golf. We are getting some freezing/pixelation frustrating... What is likely cause...line coming into the house? or we did have 3 TV's hooked up at one time so probably a splitter
That can be a number of issues but the main one will be the signal being a bit weak or mixed up as it is coming into your home, normally that is an easy enough issue to fix with the following steps. How to troubleshoot poor picture quality / pixelation
Ok thanks. looked at splitter and there was 3 tv's set up on it. We will take 2 off and see if that works.
The splitter will still be splitting the signal. If you can try bypassing the splitter and have one cable direct from the wall outlet to one of the digital boxes and try it out.
If that works replacing the splitter should fix your issue.
we don't have a wall slot for the cable to go into there is a hole in the wall there but can't screw anything into it
Hi there mets,
Very sorry to see that you did not receive a response to your last inquiry. Are you still experiencing the issue you have outlined above? It definitely does sound like a signal issue, so we should be able to get that working normally for you if you have not already. Please let us know!
HHi there. Well it didn't happen yesterday but as I said there an old wall spot where a cord could go in the wall but can't screw anything in there.....I assume when things were initially set up we had 3 tv's in house and it wasn't needed... assuming it would be best to have cord going from box into the wall we can't do that
Thanks for the update. If you're unable to screw anything in there, unfortunately it doesn't appear that that outlet would work for you. If you continue having issues with pixelization using the 3 way splitter, please let us know and we can have somebody out there to check the connection for you, or perhaps recommend a better way of having it set up.
OK thanks. We will see what happens
