just got a new hd box it let me watch free movies and now it only gives option to cancel how can i fix it
What do you mean by let you watch free movies? Where were you going to get these movies and what exactly are you doing when this error comes up? Are you going thru to order the movie, then click on the movie and it just says cancel?

OK sorry im new to this tec stuff when i press shaw on demand button and i select any movie and im secribed to them the only option is cancel .i dont no what model number it is theres lots of numbers on it
What section are you going into when you order. You may be subscribed to Movie Central or Super Channel but if you just go into movies those are all rentals that you pay for. It may be easier to explain live so if that works easier you can always call 1-888-472-2222 and we can sort that out!

Ok unplug the power to your digital box for one full minute then reconnect it. Give it an hour then try ordering again and see if that works.
ok ill do that will someone be online to help in a hour tho it was working fine i only have had this box a day what set of numbers do u need
We don't need any numbers right now so don't worry about that, just try the steps we gave you and hopefully that will be the last of the issues.

Hopefully that powercycle we gave you to try will fix that up, just give it the time to run thru then try ordering and hopefully that will get it.
If you just unplugged the box give it some time, that is just the box powering up and reconnecting to our server. If it stays for more that 5 minutes unplug again for 1 full minute and that should get you past it.

Just a shot in the dark here. Do you have a splitter in the line to your cable box? VOD doesn't play nicely with splitters. If so, temporarily remove it, power cycle the box, and try it again.
