Sudden no IP

I am in Saskatoon.  Right around 12:20AM my Motorola DCX-3510M PVR flashed the "lost network connections" box, and then became non-responsive.   I unplugged to reboot and at the end of the reboot sequence I now get the "no IP" message.

 

I've reseated connectors and no joy.  About to leave town tomorrow on a week-long trip and I really rely on my PVR to record while I'm away.

 

Assuming this is a cable interruption of some kind, will the box automatically restart when the signal returns, and scheduled recordings resume?  Or do I have to be here in person to reboot it again?

 

I tried calling the "24/7" tech support line but got a message asking me to call back between the hours of 7 and 10.  Guys, that's not "24/7 tech support"

 

Yeesh.
