the guide comes up, but no shows. It stopped playing part way through a pvr recording...is there an outage on vancouver island right now?

Not aware of any issues on the island at the moment but we can definitely look into this for you. Do you have more than one tv in the home? If so, are they all affected? If you have other services with us like Internet or Phone, are those down as well?
using internet right now to chat with you. TV upstairs seems to be working. I unplugged power and plugged back in, but still not working.. Should I leave unplugged for 5 minutes or so?
Thanks! The no signal message could mean that the cable connection has come loose, or if you have a splitter it could be failing. What you can try next is unplugging the power, and then disconnect the cable from the box/outlet/splitter. Then reconnect everything ensuring the connections are tight before plugging the power back in. If the "no signal" message is still there, please let us know.
