We have a Motorola CCX3400M HDPVR with an Iomega expander.
The HD box went through a phase where it was freezing and required resetting...sometimes almost daily which was infuriating but that issue seems to have gone away.
Now we are experiencing an issue where we try to watch a recording and get a message that the expander drive is not connected.
To make a long story short, that is not the case, it is connected, but just today I disconnected everything from the pvr(esata cable)....shut the power down on the expander and pvr and rehooked and turned everything back on according to Shaw's website instructions. This did not fix the problem.
Could the problem be the esata cable?
The expander used to make a noise but no longer does that even though the blue power light is on......could the expander be fried?
Any help would be appreciated.
