The Shaw website has listed the specs on the Motorola SB5100 series modems as 10/100/1000 Ethernet, but the manufacturer of the modem (Motorola) states the Ethernet is only 10/100.
Why the different specs?
Hey there dfitz
The SB5100 modems definitely have just 10/100 Ethernet ports, they do not do Gigabit. The 10/100/1000 spec on our web site appears to be a mistake. We're now aware of that so we will see about having it corrected. For now though I'd suggest going by Motorola's specs.
