How much of a notice do I have to give when cancelling my service. I am going to Telus fibre optic at the end of the month. I am under no contract.

You can do it here through the forums via direct message (So privately. A Shaw rep will send you a DM to initiate if you request it here publicly.) or phone them. It will be done by the end of the call if need be.
You can still set it up in advance if that is your preferred option though.
I believe you don't have to give any notice anymore. Some one from Shaw can clarify that. Be prepared for the hard sell to keep you.
