Hi firstname.lastname@example.org ,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your guide. What kind of equipment do you have? If it's the Gateway, we do have a known issue and are working on some firmware updates that should address it. No ETA yet on that. If you have a different box, like our 3510 PVR, it might just need a power cycle. You can power cycle the box by unplugging the power for about 30 seconds and that should help.
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your guide.
Firstly, what model is it that you are currently using? Is it the gateway? Or a HD PVR box?
There are A few different things that could be causing this. The first thing I would suggest is just unplugging the power from the back of the cable box attached to the TV. While the power is unplugged please make sure the coax cable is tight on the back. Please plug the power back in and wait about 15 minutes before checking to see if the guide is now responding better. If you happen to have one of the older boxes, it may take up to a few hours for the guide to fully load.
Please let us know how this goes, as well as what cable box you are using, Have a great day .
its a gateway. i will try to unplug today after work to see if it fixes the problem. it also happens on other tvs in the house.
Seeing as it is the gateway, it would be the firmware issue that Tamara spoke of above. It is a known issue and something we are currently working to resolve as it is affecting many of our gateway systems.
I did notice that mine is responding smoother today, but I have not heard any update news in this regard yet. Just my personal experience. Please let us know if yours is responding better as well.
Have a great day.
