How can I set my Windows Live Mail to send emails while connected to other server then shaw?
Hey there firstname.lastname@example.org ,
Thanks for reaching out! As long as you enable Enabling Remote Access in Webmail per the instructions in that document, then the POP email setup instructions in the How do I set up email in Windows Live Mail? document should work well on non-Shaw services. The outgoing server "mail.shaw.ca" is designed so that it works on non-Shaw internet connections just fine.
Indeed I have been trying to follow this link "Remote Access " before contacting you, but:
1 It seems as if it does not refer to laptop computers, but other mobile devices
2 I'm not sure what (and why) password i have to check, since the regular password I use to log into my webmail, does not seem acceptable (the massage I receive is "the password entered does not mach your webmail password")
3 I did set The outgoing server "mail.shaw.ca", yet when trying to send mail from Windows Live Mail, i receive error massage
