Modem Model DPC 3825
I purchased a Chromecast and am attempting to set it up connecting through my desktop. I download the app and it hooks up all right to start the process but then I get an error message that reads:
! Uh, brain freeze
Something went wrong. We weren't able to save your settings to your Chromecast.
1. Ensure you are not connected to VPN.
2. If you have a dual band (2.4 and 5 GHz) router-ensure it is not in AP isolation mode.
3. If your router has MAC whitelisting, ensure that your Wi-Fi network allows this device and your Chromecast to join.
I checked the Shaw forums and I've reset my modem to make sure the default password is good but still the same fault.
