Does the Shaw Advanced Wifi router support port forwarding and QOS

I just called to upgrade my internet 25 to internet 30 for the improved upload speeds and I was told I would have to replace my router.

I currently have the Cisco DPC 3825 DOCSIS 3.0 gateway set up in bridged mode and I am using my own router.

I have port forwarding set up for Steam and a few other things and 2 PC's that have priority on the network over all the phones and tablets.

It's all working pretty nicely and I don't really want to change it.

Does the new shaw modem allow me to set up port forwarding and give certain devices a higher priority over other devices?

Is there any reason why I can't use my current modem in bridged mode with internet 30?

Thanks in advance.
