I set up the welcome home package two months ago when I moved into my new place, unfortunately I have to move out and I have somebody taking over my lease they also want to take over my shaw account. Shaw have no problem letting the new tenant take over my account but they won't allow him to take over the rent to own equipment deal that we have for the box . instead they want me to pay them $250 and then expect me to get the new tenant to reimburse me which I doubt will happen, even though for the tenant to use my shaw account they need the box to use it. Its a simple task all they have to do is put the new tenants name on the account, but no they have made it more difficult. Customer service is non existent in shaw. I will never use any of their services ever again.
