I have been trying to create some new email addresses but not having much luck. Is there an extra step needed before they are created? I show them in "My Profile" but cannot login to any of the new ones.
Hi kikibro. When you access your online account at https://myaccount.shaw.ca, do those new email addresses show up as having been successfully created? If they are there, see if you can log into them at https://webmail.shaw.ca. If it gives you a password error, go back to your online account and change the passwords and then see if you can log into them in webmail again.
If it still gives you login botherations after that, let us know here. We can private message you for the email addresses and check them out for you.
The page at "My Profile" hangs when I click on update and save after trying to change the password. Just a little wheel image spinning away but never resolving. I tried logging into another known working address at webmail and that works fine, but so far I have found at least 2 addresses that kick-back a login error. I guess we should go to messages and I will send you the addresses?
We should definitely look into this for you over private message. It's possible that those email addresses are already taken but it should have let you know rather than just spin like that.
