Ever since I switched from POP to IMAP, my trash folder mysteriously empties every few weeks. I access my mail via a lot of ways (phone, tablet, computer, web interface), so I initially blamed one of the apps I use (and so did Shaw tech support). So I just used one for a month: Thunderbird. I made sure every possible setting prevented my trash from being automatically emptied.
Of course, my trash still got automatically emptied. Is this a standard thing that Shaw IMAP mail does?
