I was quite happy to hear that the speed had been increased on the Shaw Wi fi Hot spots. However, there is still the issue of them not working too many places.
I was in Market Mall Calgary this afternoon. My iphone wasn't getting any email. It was connected to the Shaw hot spot (and yes it is registered and it does connect where the hot spots are properly working. It has happened on more than one device so it isn't this particular phone)
Anyway, I do the usual thing, and turn the wi fi off, get my email, go into the apple store and turn it back on again to connect to Apple wi fi to make a purchase.
My point is, all too many times, when I am connected to Shaw wi fi, it is not only slow, it is dead in the water. Do you have a bunch of dead hot spots out there or what?
It is pretty annoying.
70,000 hot spots. How many are actually connecting?
