Keeps saying that my server doesn't recognize my email . I followed all directions as per shaws directions. Keeps saying that it doesn't recognize me or my email address ? Getting frustrated

I'd recommend deleting that message or editing it now to remove your email address info from a public space.
As for the settings, can you type: "shaw.ca\username (email without @shaw.ca)" ? That shaw.ca is missing and is needed for the exchange setup:

Sorry to hear about the trouble's you've had. I'd be happy to try and get this working! To confirm, you can log into your email online at Shaw webmail right? How are you trying to setup the email on the phone (i.e. POP, IMAP or Exchange)? What device is it - Samsung, Nexus, HTC, etc.?
I'm trying to hook up micro sync exchange manually .i followed the directions you give however when it starts confirming ongoing and outgoing it stop and says doesn't recognize server or the server doesn't recognize protocol. it's a brand new samsung android 6. I will try the web mail gig
Thanks for the info ricatoni. Let me know if you can log into webmail or not. Once you confirm you can login online, if possible, could you try a different setup like IMAP and see if it works as well? Let us know how it goes!
Yes I was able to log in to my email on my phone via webmail. The prob is I can't load my email on to phone so I can receive and send . Thanks
When checking incoming email its says you entered an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that email does not support. Does this for both incoming and outgoing setup
