I have put in new batteries, but it's not working very well, if at all. The buttons aren't even lighting up until you press whichever one you're using 5 or 6 times. It's like it's worn out. How do you get a new one?
That does sound like it is wearing out. You can stop by one of our retail locations to swap it out for a replacement. If it is no longer under warranty, there may be a fee of $14.95, which is pretty cheap for a remote.
