I posted in an old thread last weekend, but no reply. I'd prefer to get support from Shaw instead of an Arris global helpdesk...
[shaw]moderator mark_vse I called the Shaw Gateway support line, and found out there's nothing Shaw can do about the continuous, forced software upgrades being pushed to my portal, as this is being driven by Arris. I was given a phone # for Arris support to ask them if there's any way to supress the updates, and I'm not having any luck getting through, residential support is Monday-Friday. Can you help me, and find out if my MP2150 Arris portal can be set to not receive/install software updates? I assume you have a 'go to' support person at Arris who could help me out. If you do, can you also ask if the Arris MP2150 'should' work with my Yamaha RX-A820 receiver?
