Hello good folks, looking for a bit of advice on my home network and a possible intrusion. So last night I was watching
some streaming news when my windows PC popped up 'network cable unplugged' as the video feed stopped. Nobody in
the house touched or restarted my modem/router and is the first time this has happened in 2-3yrs of using this specific router.
I proceeded to log in to the router (Cisco DPC3825 DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway) and view the log where I found the following:
|1||Mon Mar 21 05:24:55 2016||2436694044||Critical (3)||CISCO: DocsDevResetNow mib to reset cable mode|
|1||Thu Mar 17 04:38:07 2016||2436694049||Critical (3)||Telnet user logged out.|
|1||Thu Mar 17 04:38:06 2016||2436694048||Critical (3)||Telnet user logged in from IP address 126.96.36.199.|
There are others telnet logins and can post the single page of logs if needed. My question is if there is anything to worry about here?
My wife and I both sell on ebay, use paypal, along with other similar sites and dont want any risk to private info.
Appreciate any help, and thanks
