Why doesn't Shaw use the Messages feature on Gateway?

I have yet to receive one message in the Message envelope in my Shaw Gateway system, yet there have been many changes to the channels, service, guide, etc over the years that could have been announced and explained that way. I see no reason why we should have to search all over and come here for info on updates and changes when this feature sits virtually unused. Shaw should be proactively providing customers with info in advance of changes.


Just recently, the Movie Central channels were rebundled under a new name and logo, but I had to dig around to find that out. Also, at the moment there are no station logos for 280, 281 and 282. So, Shaw, why are you not utilizing that useful feature in the Gateway system?
