Sometimes my Shaw Webmail won't let me sign out. After trying several times I usually get fed up and shut down my browser. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or has had this problem in the past and knows why it happens.
That is quite odd. I've never once experienced that problem but unsure if anyone else here has or can chime in. We'll need a bit more information in order to be more helpful.
What kind of system/browser are you using?
Have you tried an alternate browser?
Tried clearing your cache and cookies?
When trying to log out, can you detail a little bit more on the process and what happens? Do you receive any type of error messages or does the sign out button not highlight and is not clickable?

Windows 10, but also happened when it was Windows 8.1

Yes I have tried clearing my cache and cookies
I don't receive an error message, it doesn't highlight and is not clickable. It happens about once every five times or so that I Sign In.
Thanks so much for the info. To dig into it a little deeper, did the problem start while on Win 8, then you upgraded to Win 10? or was there a clean format/install for Win 10?

Usually an update would do it and it should work problem free. We'll have to try it out and see what the outcome is and whether the problem continues to persist. About 99% of the time similar problems are browser based. Hoping the update will keep it in tip top shape. If the problem persists, please try an another browser to see if the problem occurs there as well.

This same problem was happening to me (Shaw WebMail, Internet Explorer 11, Windows 7 Professional).
My "bypass" was to press 'F5' to refresh the WebMail window. Then, I could log-out. Weird.
But, this problem has not happened in the last few weeks.
Did Shaw update something on their mail-server?
