For the past couple of days on History HD I get a message signal loss detected. It's only on that channel. I've tried all the usual things. Could someone look into it please?
Sorry to hear that you've been having troubles on that channel. Do you have another portal? If so could you tell me if that issue also persists on the other one? Want to narrow down if this could be the Gateway or Portal itself.
Only one portal and only that channel as far as I know.

Can you cycle that portal specifically - removing the coax and power cable on the back for two minutes and follow the coax cable to the wall and remove it there for that period as well. Reconnect it at the wall first, then the unit and finally the power.
If you see it continue to persist, could you swap the portal with another one at your house? This will help point if it could be something signal related or if its the portal itself. If another portal at the same location also has that - likely signal. If the message appears on the same portal in another outlet - likely the portal.

Just an update it couldn't be fixed remotely and I have a service call booked for Thursday. I noticed this morning that it's occurring on WGN HD as well. I think it started when we had the big wind storm last week, as we lost all Shaw services for a while, but not power.
Thanks for keeping the thread up to date buckycat. I'm sure we'll get it sorted for you on Thursday. I can see it being related to the weather recently, super windy.
The problem corrected itself on Wednesday. I kept the service call anyway to talk to the technician and it turned out to be an area wide problem.
