For days now, I am only getting static on the cable radio stations KPLU and CBC 2 - what is up? I hope this is not going to be the same run-around we had 2 years ago.
Please see the post that buckycat posted on the stations that have been removed and how to listen to them online. As well, they can continued to be listened to with a radio receiver that is available to purchased from stores such as Best Buy.

I am so disappointed. You wrote:"There are solutions available that allow you to stream these radio stations via the internet and hook in to your stereo system, they just require a bit of configuration." Can you tell me how to do this?
Direct links to the online streams for each of the channels previously broadcasted are avaialble in this document. FM Discontinuation Here you can also check out the "How to Access My Radio Stations?" section of this document for multiple suggestions on how to access these streams.
A few extra ideas...
Sorry for any inconvenience.
These solutions may work if you have newer, digital equipment. But older stereo equipment, working just fine, can only access the extremely limited and poor quality OTA signals of mostly local Canadian stations. Even in Vancouver there is nothing on the air like KPLU (jazz, blues, NPR) or classical stations. Thus even streaming online cannot get a signal to the units.
I never understood why Shaw simply could not add FM stations to the digital boxes as channel numbers like other providers have had for years. Its something I used on MTS TV all the time.
