If I call Ebay, 1-866-540-3229 but *67 first, it tells me what number I'm calling from still.
Whats going on?
It asks for pass code, I hit pound for "none", then it says "it seems you are calling from 604-xxx-xxxx is that correct?".

Taking a look into this, we test dialed from our test phones and work phones the automated system will still retrieve our phone numbers when using *67. *67 is intended to prevent the dialer's number/contact from being seen on the Caller ID by the individual on the receiving end of the phone call. If the individual on the receiving end has call display, they will not see your phone number/contact when you use *67. *67 does not block your number when calling into an automated system that is created to retrieve your phone number to access your Ebay account. To gather some more information, when you use *67 to call into another residential contact, do they see your phone number/contact information on their Caller ID? Let us know.
