Picture used to fill screen, now it doesn't
Hi kangus. I know that the preferred way is to have the picture stretch to fill up the entire screen. If it's stretching a standard definition channel to fill up the whole TV screen from left to right, it can create the "wide head" effect but it does make it more fun to watch.
It might be an issue with the aspect ratio on your digital box. Do you know which model of digital box that you have? And is this a standard definition or an HD channel?
I watch tv through a roku. The zoom aspect used to fill the screen and now it doesn't. Picture looks stretched.
We're not trained in Roku settings. You might want to check the manual or ask on their website for more expert guidance on that.
But in case it was a change in the Roku settings, have you tried setting it to default? Another trick is to unplug the HDMI cable from both the Roku and the TV, unplug power to both of them for 10 or so seconds, and then reconnect the HDMI cable once they are both powered back up again. That should help the Roku and the TV do their handshake again.
