Wideopen150 availability

I talked to an online agent yesterday evening, as I was interested in upgrade my current package to the Wideopen 150 package. I currently have the 120 package: High Speed and Broadband Internet 120 | Internet Plans - Shaw


I was told it is not available in my area?? If that is the case, I do not understand why because I already have the Hitron mode, in bridged mode, at 120/10 speeds. I fail to see why it could not be upgraded to the 150/15 profile?

I see no technical limitation as to why the Wideopen 150 package would not be available in my area.


I am even more than happy to pay for the Wideopen150 package and keep my current speeds a 120/10 until 150/15 is available in my area.


If someone could confirm availability in my area, explain technical reason why not available with my current equipment, and tell me if I can get the wideopen 150 package at 120/10 speeds for now, that would be great.
