I am thinking of using a powerline adapter to get a wired conection in a room where the wifi signal drops significantly. I am using an Asus RT-N66U router and Hitron CGNM-2250 modem in bridge mode. Going from what I've read online, please let me know if I am correct. I would connect the first powerline adapter to an unoccupied jack (from the set of four jacks) on the back of the router and then connect the adapter to the electrical outlet in the wall. I would then plug in the second powerline adapter to the wall and connect it to the other computer via network cable. Does that sound right? Thanks.
